This year was all around a bit of an experiment as it was both my partner Jasmine and I's first time competing in FCCLA. I was in year one of the interior design program and Jasmine was in year two, so both of us were sort of figuring everything out as we went along, and this was the year I realized how little information there was on this competition online. We had very little information to go off of other than the prompt that was provided and somehow both of us failed to realize that there was even a rubric we would be judged by.

We both had fun, creating this Art Nuveau esque design, though we did not even place at region. I don't think I need to elaborate too much on what needed improvement, as it is pretty self explanatory looking at the boards compared to my most recent, but to be fair this was my first time making design boards and really seeing an interior design project through to completion. Ultimately, this simply layed the groundwork for what was to come in following years.
